Passive link table

When you create a report based on a SQL Data Source, you also create a Passive Link Table. This table has the same characteristics of an Alpha Five table, with a couple of extra features. It contains both the connection string and SELECT statement information required to go back to the SQL Data Source and refresh its contents.

You can refresh the contents of a passive link table without running a report. You can also convert it into a standard Alpha Five table.
