Overview |
Alpha Five reporting allows you to selectively retrieve records from a table, order and group them, calculate group totals, and then print the resulting report, save it to a file, or send it to a remote user as an email attachment. Enterprise Reporting adds the ability to do all this with data that resides in an external ADO or ODBC compatible database.

Alpha Five reports may be based on sets, which are combinations of tables. As a result, you could have 3 local tables that derive their content from an Oracle database, an Access database, and an Excel spreadsheet and a set that combines these 3 tables. You could then, in one step, print a report based this set that contains current content from these 3 data sources.
