What are Active-Link Tables?
Active-Link tables allow one to work with data in remote SQL databases in the same way as you are used to working with regular .dbf files. With Active-link tables you can create forms, browses, field rules, reports, and operations against live SQL data sources (with full read/write capability).
Active-Link tables are not available in the Runtime version of Alpha Five. However they are available in the Alpha Five Run Engine. For more details about Runtimes and Run Engines, please click here.
