Default Mobile Version of this Forum?

vBulletin has a mobile version of the forum for smartphones. It would be nice to have this capability on the road as there is so much one can learn by just perusing the messages for some handy tips and tricks using a dedicated app.

    Thanks

Especially for a company that's promoting mobile app development - it's a no brainer

It looks like the Mobile Suite for vBulletin may only cost $199. If that’s the case, what’s holding Alpha back?

Alpha purchased vBulletin mobile suite, could not get it to work, hired a well-regarded vBulletin consultation that could not get it to work, and ultimately gave up on it. We are revisiting it to see if they have improved the product significantly, or if their new responsive design in vBulletin 5 Connect is a reasonable alternative.

Just so you know, I have been involved with several message board software installations over the years for our organization. There are sometimes issues that prevent installation without losing data, my advice to AS would be to pay for a vbulletin tech to do it or just forget it. I think overall installation by them took a couple of weeks and ran about 500 bucks total - just don't hold AS accountable for the crap that may go on during that time!
I would suggest a full backup of everything!

Please ignore and excuse ANY posts I make in the desktop section - as an idiot, I am prone to reply in the wrong section - and I don't know diddly about the AS Desktop development.
