In the sample tablet application, some of the buttons in the Custom Keypads use an SVG image for the key graphic. SVG (Scalable Vector Graphic) is an image format that's defined using XML. SVG is a popular method for creating and displaying images in web pages, and there are a variety of free and paid-for applications (such as svg-edit or Adobe Illustrator) that you can use to create SVG images.
In this video, Dan Bricklin explains how you can create your own SVG images and embed them in your web applications. He shares some additional tips for styling and scaling the images using CSS.
