    Default System Date Setting?

    Does anyone know if there is a way to set the system date settings with xbasic code? I am trying to set the "require all years to be fully specified" setting. This can be done in the gui by going to View->settings->system->date, but since this seems to be user specific, I need to set in code so it executes the next time a current user opens the application .... otherwise, I would have to login to each account and set the setting manually ... :)

    Thanks in advance!!

    Default Re: System Date Setting?

    Found a way to do it in the registry ....

    The key folder related to date settings can be found @ ....
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Alpha Software\Alpha Five 10.0\init\date\

    regss2.png

    I decided to go with the the date_window# instead of requesting full year .... to set this key in xbasic ....
    -> Registry.sys_set("HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Alpha Software\Alpha Five 10.0\init\date\date_window#","40.000000")
