Alpha officially announces Alpha Anywhere and the addition of software legends, Dan Bricklin, Joe Alsop and John Cullinane to the team

We are now in a new era of business computing!

Mobile is now a fundamental and major requirement for business computing, but it does not replace personal computing.

Today, Alpha officially announced Alpha Anywhere, powered by Alpha Five version 12

The new website that corresponds to Alpha Anywhere is here.

Alpha Anywhere is the first complete  environment to address the need that developers have to rapidly build and deploy powerful business applications once and have these run on mobile devices and personal computers. The press release outlining this is available here: http://alphasoftware.com/images/Alpha%20Anywhere%20release.pdf

As part of the announcement of Alpha Anywhere, Alpha is delighted to welcome Dan Bricklin on board as CTO of the company.

In addition, Alpha is also extremely pleased to welcome John Cullinane as an investor and adviser, where he joins Joe Alsop, the founder and past CEO of Progress Software, who has been an investor in Alpha and has been providing invaluable advice leading up to the launch of Alpha Anywhere.

For more information on Dan's decision to join Alpha at this stage, his personal blog post makes for very interesting reading
