First Apple Watch App Created with Alpha Watchbench

Below is a verbatim email from David Kates who can be reached at rune.dkates@rogers.com

Here’s a quick video of something I was able to get done in a couple of hours with Alpha's new Alpha Watchbench app.  WatchBench and the way the files are organized made a lot of sense to me. The NHLStats app is based on Dan Bricklin’s sample Orders app which made getting this done very easy.

The data comes from static files in Amazon S3.  The files are arranged in a folder named NHLStats and then within sub-folders for years. They are public files.

This is all pretty cool stuff.

Apart from the WatchBench app and the sample apps, which are amazing in themselves, I always find it fascinating how similar data is. I was able to take a Customer Orders app and, with no change to the basic structure of the UI, and little change to the data structure, turn it into a NHLStats app.
