For many mobile application development platforms, accessing a mobile device's camera is complicated and time consuming. With our next major release, it's easy.A common requirement in many mobile applications, is the ability to access the camera or photo library so that a picture can be taken and then uploaded to the server, where it will be stored in a binary field in a table, or in a folder on the server.
There are two methods for accessing the camera in the upcoming Alpha Five.
You can use HTML5 (if the browser on the native device supports HTML5 camera access) or you can use Cordova/PhoneGap (if your application is running in a native shell that uses Cordova).
