More on the power and flexibility of the business reporting tools available in Alpha Five

Business application developers who are using Alpha Five v11 often comment on the power and flexibility of the platform's business reporting tools, which can of course be used in web, mobile and desktop applications.

By way of example, a developer recently sent in an email asking if Alpha Five v11 Layout Table Reports support 'Conditional Objects'. This video is in response to that question:

Duplicating the Functionality of the Free-form Report 'Conditional Object' in a Layout Table Report: Showing Conditional Content in a Cell

When designing Free-form reports, developers often use the 'Conditional Object' control to display conditional content. For example, you might want to show one set of field values under one condition, another set under another condition, and so on.When designing Layout Table reports, you can implement the functionality of the 'Conditional Object' (and much more!) by placing a 'Static HTML' control into a report cell.In this video we show how this is done.
