New SaaS Companies are being launched all the time built on Alpha Five V11

A lot of people building Alpha Five v11 applications today are building solutions rapidly to meet the requirements of existing businesses or organizations.  Examples of this are safety inspection logging and reporting systems, university student information systems, medical records systems, clinical trial workflow and reporting systems, inventory and point of sale systems, service tracking and logging systems,  and much more.

There is another important use of Alpha Five v11, and that is that it allows our customers to create SaaS businesses from scratch in a fraction of the time that it would take if they were to build their SaaS application with PHP, ASP.NET, Ruby on Rails, or Java EE. This is a very important consideration because it allows Alpha customers to go from business concept to revenue in less time and therefore requires less money, and also gives the opportunity to take the "first mover" slot in a new category.

A recent example of a SaaS application is a  business Scott Moore has created entirely in Alpha Five v11 that is growing quickly. The company is positioned as "Professional Dog Walking and Pet Sitting Software" and it is aimed at people who are in the business taking care of dogs and pets. In case  you think this represents a small market, bear in mind that in the USA alone there are approximately 78.2 million owned dogs, and 39% of households own at least one dog. For the cats the numbers are 86.4 million and 33% respectively.

When I asked Scott to comment, he said "I think Alpha Five is a great product, and my customers love PetSitClick. I think it's amazing what Alpha has allowed me to build." Scott also commented that he had looked at building the system in PHP, ASP.NET, and Ruby on Rails, but all those platforms would simply have taken too long.

Now the only thing left to do on our end is to have Clifton, our Director of Sniff testing, give his wag of approval!
