New Video Finder App Helps you Learn and Use Alpha Anywhere - Adapts to Provide the User Experience People Expect on Phones, Tablets and Personal Computers

We are excited to announce the beta release of  videos.alphasoftware.com -
a new app that lets you search through the extensive alpha video library and easily find the videos you need.


This new app is a useful tool that helps in the learning and use of Alpha Anywhere, as it allows you to locate the exact video you need quickly and easily. The app also is a great demonstration of Alpha's HTML5 capabilities and its ability to morph its appearance and behavior depending on what device it is run on!

Much like a Chameleon is marvel of nature because of its ability to change appearance based on its environment, Alpha Anywhere lets you easily build business apps that adapt to their environment and present a completely different user experience depending on whether you access the app from a desktop/latptop,  a smartphone or a tablet

This app is yet another example of how Alpha's high-level (coding optional) approach to building HTML5 business apps compares favorably in terms of productivity and ease-of-use to low-level (coding mandatory) approaches, such as Sencha and JQuery.

Co-founder of Alpha Software, Richard Rabins focuses on strategy, sales, and marketing. Richard also served as CEO of SoftQuad International from 1997 to 2001, when it owned Alpha. In addition to his 30 years with the company, Richard played a key role as co-founder, and served as president and chairman of the Massachusetts Software Council (now the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council), the largest technology trade organization in Massachusetts. Prior to founding Alpha, Richard was a project leader and consultant with Information Resources, Inc. (IRI), and a management consultant with Management Decision Systems, Inc. Richard holds a master's degree in system dynamics from the Sloan School at MIT, and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and master's degree in control engineering from University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. He has served on the boards of Silent Systems, Legacy Technology and O3B Networks, and is co-founder of Tubifi www.tubifi.com.
