Form Layout

Description

The Form Layout tab is where the layout of the FormView control is designed. The following properties are used to configure controls, maps, images, containers, and other items added to the Form Layout.

Appearance Properties

Settings for defining the appearance of a Button in the FormView layout.

Button Properties Properties

The Button Properties define the layout of the content shown on the button (text and/or image) as well as the button's id, help text, and whether or not the button is visible or disabled.

Camera/Image Capture Properties

Settings for configuring image capture behavior for an image.

Column Layout Settings (Column Layout)

Properties for defining the layout of a Column Layout container.

Column Layout Settings (Item)

Settings for defining column breaks for a control placed in a Column Layout Container.

Comment Properties

Defines comments in the FormView layout.

Container Properties Properties

Settings for configuring a container, including adding items, show/hide expressions, and styles.

Control Container Properties

Settings for adding a containing DIV around a control in the FormView layout.

Custom Control Properties Properties

Settings for configuring an unbound Custom Control in the FormView Layout.

Custom Item Properties Properties

Settings for configuring a Custom Data Bound field on the FormView's layout.

Data Bound Field Properties Properties

Settings for configuring data bound fields placed in the FormView's layout. A data bound field is a field from the FormView's data source.

Data Group Properties Properties

Settings for configuring a Data Group container in a FormView's layout.

Flow Layout Settings Properties

Settings for defining the behavior for an item in a Flow Layout container.

Frame Properties

Settings for configuring Frame controls in a FormView layout.

HTML Element Properties Properties

Settings for configuring an arbitrary HTML element to add to the FormView layout. The HTML element control can be used toa dd an opening and closing HTML element around a set of controls.

Image Annotation Properties

Specify whether or not an image can be annotated.

Image Properties Properties

Settings for configuring a data-bound Image in the FormView layout.

Image Properties List Properties

Settings for configuring an image in the FormView Layout. These properties for for an image that is not bound to a data source.

Ink Properties Properties

Specify how the ink is rendered in the FormView Layout.

Javascript Properties

Events for controls in the FormView Layout. Events are only available for specific controls.

Settings for configuring a Label control in the FormView layout.

Layout Container Properties Properties

Settings for configuring a Layout Container.

Map Properties Properties

Settings for configuring a map control added to the FormView layout.

Multi-Condition - Condition Properties

The Multi-Condition - Condition Properties are used to configure the expressions in a [MultiCondition] control that are used to conditionally display controls in the FormView's layout.

Two-state Switch Settings

If you select 'Two-State' in the Switch Properties section of the Form View Builders Form Layout control, you then have the option of defining the Two-state switch. These settings let you customize switches as well.
