You can use a map control in the Search Part of a Grid to enter points for a polygon search or to specify the center point and radius for a radius search.
To use a geographic search, your SQL database must support geography types, and your grid must be based on a query that includes a geography field. You need to include the geography field in your search part, and set its control to a map.

When you do a radius search (i.e. find all records with a certain distance of a map center point), it can be useful to order the records by distance from the map center point. This video shows how this is easily done.

This option uses CSS to resize the video player. It does not rely on the
orientation change event and is very fast and fluid. Since the video player size
is driven by CSS and the aspect ratio of 16:9 is maintained, the height of the player may exceed the visible
container height on certain mobile devices. The container may be scrolled should this occur.
