- Custom Component Sections and Events
/documentation/pages/Guides/Mobile and Web Components/Custom/Custom Component Sections and Events.xml
Let's go over the Sections and Events of the Custom Component Builder.
- How to Apply Security Settings Client-Side
/documentation/pages/HowTo/Security/Client Side Security.xml
Security settings can be applied client-side to dynamically display controls in an application, such as in PhoneGap applications.
- DLG_UCHKOUT Dialog Component
/documentation/pages/Obsolete/Alpha Sports/Components/DLG_UCHKOUT Dialog Component.xml
Captures or displays the customer information required by the billing and shipping processes.
- Overview: Functions and Expressions
/documentation/pages/Ref/Xbasic/Reference/Overview__COLON__ Functions and Expressions.xml
Expressions are used throughout Alpha Anywhere for a variety of purposes. They are used to order and select records, display calculations on layouts, link two tables together, and to specify conditions under which events occur. For example, you can create an expression for a calculated field to show sales totals at the bottom of a Report, or you can create a duplicate key expression so that Alpha Anywhere knows which records in your table are duplicates.
- DLG_HDATE Dialog Component
/documentation/pages/Obsolete/Alpha Sports/Components/DLG_HDATE Dialog Component.xml
The DLG_HDATE dialog component sets the "from" date to use in the filter expression that selects records for the GRD_HISTCUST and GRD_HISTQUAN grid components.
- Client-side Templates
/documentation/pages/Guides/Mobile and Web Components/UX/Code/Client Side Templates.xml
There are a rich set of template directives that make templates both extremely powerful and also easy to use.
- DLG_CUSTEDIT Dialog Component
/documentation/pages/Obsolete/Alpha Sports/Components/DLG_CUSTEDIT Dialog Component.xml
The DLG_CUSTEDIT dialog component contains the text controls necessary to edit a customer table record and a matching security record for the user, if a security record exists. The DLG_CUSTEDIT dialog illustrates the use of a tab control with multiple tab panes as well as merge controls.
Control names for fields that contain data for the customer table are the field names in the table preceeded with "c_". The name of each security control in the dialog must exactly match the name of the field in the user table. A list of valid security field names can be found by using the A5WS_User_File_Field_List() function. Two other fields are recognized by the security functions used in this component, confirm_password and groups. Confirm_password is used to confirm a password entry, and groups saves the security group assignments for this user.
- Grid Component SQL Database Credentials
/documentation/pages/Server/Guide/Design/View/Grid/Grid Component/Grid Component SQL Database Credentials.xml
By default all users who use a Grid component connect to the SQL database using the same credentials. These credentials are defined in the a5_application.a5i file which is automatically published when your application is published. The a5_application.a5i file defines how each named connection string in your application should be resolved at runtime.
- DLG_INTUSER Dialog Component
/documentation/pages/Obsolete/Alpha Sports/Components/DLG_INTUSER Dialog Component.xml
The DLG_INTUSER dialog component is used by administrators to edit security information for internal users.
- DLG_REGCART Dialog Component
/documentation/pages/Obsolete/Alpha Sports/Components/DLG_REGCART Dialog Component.xml
The DLG_REGCART dialog component is used by new customers to enter security information before completing a sale. This is required before the sale can be completed.
