- Panel Layout Properties
/documentation/pages/Guides/Mobile and Web Components/UX/Controls/Props/panel/Panel Layout Properties/index.xml
Panel Layouts are containers that can contain Panels, Panel Navigators, and even other Panel Layout containers.
The Panel Layout Properties section allows you to define how the sub-containers inside a panel layout will act.
For example, the direction that the containers will flow in, what method of animation will be used to display
panels, what buttons reveal hidden panels, and more.
- Table Lookups
It is quite common in database application design to present the user with a list of choices. Occasionally, a list is static and hard coded, but often the list is table driven. Sometimes, a list needs to change dynamically, depending on the value of another form object, selection text, or variable. Often the developer will make the list selections more user friendly by presenting an "alias" for an encoded field. This topic explores how to develop these types of lists in Alpha Anywhere.

The report is displayed in either a pop-up window or in a DIV on the current page.
- Embedding Fonts in Reports
/documentation/pages/Guides/Report/Printing Techniques/Embedding Fonts.xml
If a PDF Report is opened on a device that does not have the font used to generate the PDF Report, the Report will not render as expected. To fix this, 'Embed fonts' must be enabled in the PDF options.
- Designing Reports for Sets with One-to-Many Links
/documentation/pages/Guides/Report/Design Techniques/Designing Reportsfor Sets with One-to-Many Links.xml
When you run a report, Alpha Anywhere treats a set as a single, composite table. For example, you have a set that links accounts to their respective debits and credits. For each record in the Account table, the Debits table can have multiple charges, and the Credits table multiple payments, Set Diagram:
