in previous videos we've shown how you

can use the get customer query to return

data for a particular customer in this

video we'll show how you can return the

get many customers query to return an

array of of customers that match a

certain criteria so we'll go here and

we'll start out we'll type query and

curly bracket and then get get many

customers so we'll go there and then

we'll type in a curly bracket to define

which fields we want to return now when

you do a get many query the data comes

back in an object called record so we'll

type records and now we can go and

specify what columns from the customers

table we want so we'll start out with

just customer ID and then we'll go ahead

and execute that and you can see how we

get basically all of the customers from

the customer table so let's go here and

type in some additional columns so we'll

go here and type in say company name

contact name city and country we'll go

ahead and execute that so you can see

how we have data for all the different

customers now let's say we only care

about customers that are in the United

States so we'll go here and we'll type

in some filter parameters so this is

going to be inside paren and I can go

here and say country u.s.a and now go

ahead and execute that and you can see

now we're only seeing customers in the

USA and just like when we did queries

against the an individual customer

record we can now go and get data from

related records so I can go here and

type in orders and then for orders I'll

type in order ID and order date and then

execute that

and you can see now basically we've got

data here from the all customers in the

United States and for each customer

we're showing all of their orders and

the order date in the next video will

show how you can paginate the results

from a get many customers query
