    Default Style Sheet conflicts

I have a a5w page with a style sheet defined within the page - meaning that I don't call an external style sheet file. The page works fine until I insert a component with a Style of its own. The component style seems to conflict with the page style and some of my fonts change.

This doesn't happen when I insert a component with no style assigned.

I'm not extremely familiar with how style sheet properties are inherited, etc. and I'm getting the a5w HTML code with style sheet from a program that generates it automatically and then I copy into the a5w page.

Is there anything I can do about this style sheet confict?

What you should do is to edit one of Alpha's style sheets to use the fonts, etc., that you want, and save it as "brett1.css", or something like that. Then use that style sheet for your component. You won't have any conflicts then. The way Alpha has implemented style sheets means that in most cases Alpha's style sheet will override your own style selections, so you have to create an Alpha-specific style for the component.

    Hi,
I am using the Corporate style for the web grid component. I had to make the grid smaller so that all the data fits within the web page. Using the style editor, I changed the font size down and made almost all of them the same size (8pt). It appears that in tabular form the grid seems to replicate the changes. In the Columnar style the column labels are bigger. Does anybody know how to correct this problem?

    Thanks,
    Kumar
