    Default Alpha NetMailer

Hi: Does anyone have any experience using this product? Before I get into using it I was wondering if there are any specific issues, limitations or problems to be aware of.
    Thanks,
    Hal

Just Purchased Netmailer. How does one set the mail server username and password? I'm unable to set anything besides the smtp server, and the email address. My mail server needs the mail program to supply the username and password. What do I Do?

Hi: You need to be logged on to your isp already with your user name and password to send mail. The only setting you should need to enter into the "Preferences" of the NetMailer program is the "Mail Host Name". Usually that is something like "mail.ispname.com". My Net Mailer works fine using this procedure. I don't see any where in my NetMailer program to enter the user name & password. I believe this is done when you log on to your isp.
    Hope this helps.

    Hal,

Its so great to get feedback! I understand what you said. Thank you for your email. Problem is my isp requires the mail client, i.e netmailer in this case to login to the server by itself. !!!
and then netmailer doesn;t seem to support this, like how outlook or messenger do..

    what do i do??????????

Hi .. we still use NetMailer ... basically we connect through our ISP .... from NetMailer ... File ... Preferences ... set the Mail Host Name to your Smtp ... it should then work .... (Terry who uses this is not around at the moment but if you are still stuck email me / or post here & I'll get her to outline our use exactly)

Hi Again: I agree with John Parkin: "It should work"! After creating a message to send and then choosing the recipients from the address book, I simply "send" the messages! Keep in mind I am logged on to my ISP at the time I "send" the messages. The only setting I have made prior to sending the messages is entering my mail server in preferences.
I also recall when I first set up Netmailer to work with my ISP that there was a "Test" message prompt from the Netmailer software. I performed this test and it was successful.
I don't know where to go from here. How many times have you tried to send a message? Did you get the Test message prompt, as I did? You might try reinstalling the software and go thru the "Test Message" process again.
    Regards,
    Hal Smith

My old version of Netmailer doesn't seem to be ready for A5v9. Is there an upgrade?

I tried to find NetMailer on the website, but could not bring up a product page.

What "original download link"? From two years ago? I don't have it.

    Can you provide a link?
