Alpha Software Selected by AlwaysOn as one of the 2014 OnMobile Companies to Watch

BURLINGTON, MA. Novemer 14, 2014 – Alpha Software Corporation today announced that it was chosen as one of the 2014 OnMobile Companies to Watch by AlwaysOn. Inclusion in the list signifies Alpha Software's leadership among its peers and game-changing approaches and technologies that are likely to disrupt existing markets and entrenched players. Alpha Software was specially selected by the AlwaysOn editorial team and industry experts spanning the globe based on a set of five criteria: innovation, market potential, commercialization, stakeholder value, and media buzz. 

The OnMobile Companies to Watch winners were selected from among hundreds of other technology companies nominated by investors, bankers, journalists, and industry insiders. The AlwaysOn editorial team conducted a rigorous three-month selection process to finalize the 2014 list. Alpha Software and other OnMobile Top 100 winners will be honored at AlwaysOn’s 4th annual OnMobile event on November 14th, 2014, at AlwaysOn’s new headquarters, 68 Willow Road, Menlo Park, Calif. 

This recognition follows several recent achievements by Alpha Software, including the recent announcement of Alpha Anywhere 3.0, the industry's first application development and deployment environment with built-in offline support, without added time or cost. This built-in capability in Alpha Anywhere allows a transactional business app to operate effectively while disconnected from a network. The Company also recently announced the availability of a SaaS Framework, which provides all the necessary pages and components that are standard with most SaaS business apps, such as user authentication, free trial status and client portals.
