When you succeed, we succeed

Start Software Alpha Tracker AppWe always enjoy hearing success stories from customers and we wanted to share one in today's blog.  We've written previously about Start Software and its Alpha Tracker App. The app allows asbestos consultancy and property management clients to record critical data about this deadly material and manage asbestos removal.

Alpha Tracker App tracks asbestosAs of today, the app reached a major milestone, recording 50 million asbestos items across more than 4 million buildings across the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.

Congratulations to Start Software on providing a valuable app that does much good!

We applaud Start Software for its ability to craft such a reliable and well-designed app. The app has realized incredible rates of user adoption in its market segment across the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.

We're also proud to say that this successful app runs on Alpha Anywhere. The app was able to easily scale to handle this size data set, and runs flawlessly on desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones in Europe and Asia-Pacific.

"Currently the app require a dedicated server, but we're launching a “Cloud release” that runs on Alpha Cloud later this summer," said Robin Bennett, Start Software's director and principal consultant. "We expect that to further improve scalability and performance as we continue to attract customers to the Alpha Tracker App around the world."

You can read a detailed case study on the Alpha Tracker App, or learn more about the app on Start Software's website.

The Alpha platform is the only unified mobile and web app development and deployment environment with distinct “no-code” and “low-code” components. Using the Alpha TransForm no-code product, business users and developers can take full advantage of all the capabilities of the smartphone to turn any form into a mobile app in minutes, and power users can add advanced app functionality with Alpha TransForm's built-in programming language. IT developers can use the Alpha Anywhere low-code environment to develop complex web or mobile business apps from scratch, integrate data with existing systems of record and workflows (including data collected via Alpha TransForm), and add additional security or authentication requirements to protect corporate data.
