Attendees Learn How to Speed App Development at Alpha's Training

A Pre-Conference Training Session at Alpha DevCon 2016

Alpha DevCon 2016 opened today with a full day of training from some of Alpha Software's most seasoned developers.

Developers and business users of all different backgrounds sat down to learn how to master developing mobile optimized forms in Alpha Anywhere.  These mobile optimized forms apps are powering business - from  customer service to delivery schedules to sales contract processing  to inventory tracking.  The hands-on course, presented by Alpha Software Solutions Engineers Dion McCormick and Chris Martin, offered step by step instructions on building mobile apps that capture field data including rich media, audio, bar codes, signatures, digital ink, mapping and more.

Alpha DevCon officially kicks off tomorrow with a keynote by Paul Gillin, technical sessions, presentations and panels from business executives and developers leading mobile initiatives at their organizations, customer awards, networking events and parties.

The Alpha platform is the only unified mobile and web app development and deployment environment with distinct “no-code” and “low-code” components. Using the Alpha TransForm no-code product, business users and developers can take full advantage of all the capabilities of the smartphone to turn any form into a mobile app in minutes, and power users can add advanced app functionality with Alpha TransForm's built-in programming language. IT developers can use the Alpha Anywhere low-code environment to develop complex web or mobile business apps from scratch, integrate data with existing systems of record and workflows (including data collected via Alpha TransForm), and add additional security or authentication requirements to protect corporate data.
