Chesire Technology, an Oracle Applications consulting company, saw mobile as a growing opportunity a while ago.
They started evaluating various options and selected Alpha Anywhere because:
- It is a complete "end to end system" with front end (client) and back end capabilities (server) and it includes everything else needed to build web and mobile business apps - powerful database connectivity, web services support, reports, charts, GIS, e-forms, scheduling, PhoneGap integration and media handing
- It is extensible and is standards based
- It offers a coding optional approach which takes 5-10 less time to develop applications with compared to other approaches that are largely code oriented
- It has an upcoming ability to easily and quickly build mobile business apps that can keep on working even if there is no connection
