Build Field Apps:Training Announced at Alpha DevCon 2016

We’ve recently unveiled the pre-conference training program for Alpha DevCon 2016 on Tuesday, September 20, 2016. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Alpha Anywhere developers to get a deeper understanding of advanced concepts, and for new Alpha Anywhere users to get proficient on the product, particularly in the areas of web and mobile app development.

This hands-on course training will help attendees master the new Alpha Anywhere V4 capabilities to produce field apps and mobile forms with the latest mobile features, including offline capability, rich media capture, voice annotation and digital ink. Presented by Alpha Software Customer Solutions engineers, the training offers step-by-step instruction on how to build mobile optimized forms. Prior experience of Alpha Anywhere, JavaScript, and HTML are helpful but not required. This year’s Alpha DevCon 2016 conference, September 21 — 23, 2016 in Danvers, MA, will focus on the challenges, solutions and hard ROI benefits of mobilizing business processes. Speakers include executives and developers driving and executing some of the most innovative B2B and B2E mobile and web app projects in business today.

The Alpha platform is the only unified mobile and web app development and deployment environment with distinct “no-code” and “low-code” components. Using the Alpha TransForm no-code product, business users and developers can take full advantage of all the capabilities of the smartphone to turn any form into a mobile app in minutes, and power users can add advanced app functionality with Alpha TransForm's built-in programming language. IT developers can use the Alpha Anywhere low-code environment to develop complex web or mobile business apps from scratch, integrate data with existing systems of record and workflows (including data collected via Alpha TransForm), and add additional security or authentication requirements to protect corporate data.
