Growth Data: Mobile Enterprise Business Application Market Predictions

Analyst research firm Strategy Analytics just issued a report indicating that spending on mobile enterprise business software will only continue to grow. Two new reports: "Global Mobile Enterprise Business Applications Revenue Forecast 2016-2022" and "Global Mobile Enterprise Business Applications User Forecast, 2016-2022" show that the mobile enterprise business applications market will reach almost $74 billion in 2016 and grow to $128 billion by 2022.

Strategy Analytics: The Mobile Enterprise Business Applications Market will Grow to $128.2 billion by 2022

The research predicts that the global mobile workforce will increase from 1.45 billion in 2016 to 1.87 billion in 2022. The expansion of 4G and the near ubiquity of Wi-Fi networks provide the bandwidth needed for accessing business applications on mobile devices. In addition, enterprise mobile app stores make it easier than ever for workers to download mobile applications. The rocketing numbers are due to companies rushing to roll out new business applications to help deal with changing customer, employee and partner expectations as people become more mobile. In addition, the expansion of 4G, ubiquity of WiFi and ease of using enterprise mobile app stores were also cited as factors contributing to further growth.

It's a great time to be in mobile and web business apps!
