Bloomberg Business interviewed Alpha Software Corporation CEO Richard Rabins about the new Alpha COVID-19 Risk Assessment App, now available free to the public.Earlier this week, Bloomberg Business interviewed Alpha Software Corporation CEO Richard Rabin for the company's new triage app for COVID-19 now being used by NYC hospitals.

Dr. Warren J. Wexelman, a cardiologist/internist serving on the front lines of diagnosing and treating COVID-19 patients in New York City, worked with Alpha Software to develop the Alpha COVID-19 Risk Assessment App. The wellness app is now available to the public, now allowing anyone to anonymously answer questions about their symptoms, existing medical conditions and risk factors to assess their risks for having or developing COVID-19 using up-to-date CDC guidelines. The app then suggests important recommendations for healthcare next steps..The app takes two elements into account: your inherent risk of getting the virus, as well as an understanding of whether your present symptoms are actually the COVID-19 virus or another cause.

Richard Rabins, CEO of Alpha SoftwareBuilt using Alpha Software's highly flexible rapid application development platform, Alpha Anywhere, Alpha Anywhere, the Alpha COVID-19 App is incredibly dynamic and can immediately reflect evolving knowledge and changing CDC guidelines as more is learned about the behavior of the virus.

The Alpha platform is the only unified mobile and web app development and deployment environment with distinct “no-code” and “low-code” components. Using the Alpha TransForm no-code product, business users and developers can take full advantage of all the capabilities of the smartphone to turn any form into a mobile app in minutes, and power users can add advanced app functionality with Alpha TransForm's built-in programming language. IT developers can use the Alpha Anywhere low-code environment to develop complex web or mobile business apps from scratch, integrate data with existing systems of record and workflows (including data collected via Alpha TransForm), and add additional security or authentication requirements to protect corporate data.
