The Alpha COVID-19 Risk Assessment App allows you to anonymously answer questions about your symptoms, existing medical conditions and risk factors to assess your risks for COVID-19 using up-to-date CDC guidelines. The app then suggests important next steps in your healthcare, based on your risk level.
The Alpha COVID-19 App is a free online tool developed by Dr. Warren J. Wexelman, a cardiologist/internist serving on the front lines of diagnosing and treating COVID-19 patients in New York City, and Alpha Software. It is built to be incredibly dynamic and to immediately reflect evolving knowledge and changing guidelines as more is learned about the behavior of the virus. The app takes two elements into account: your inherent risk of getting the virus, as well as an understanding of whether your present symptoms are actually the COVID-19 virus or another cause.
This is a public app and we invite you to share it or post it to your website for others to use.
By releasing this app widely, I hope to enlighten, not frighten the public and help conserve critical healthcare resources during expected surges."
