Alpha Software Announces Contest to Discover Best Mobile Form Design – Winner will be Announced at Alpha DevCon 2015

This week, Alpha Software announced that it is running a contest in concert with its Tablet Optimized Forms Beta.  Participants are challenged to design a mobile or tablet app using the new mobile optimized form features available in the beta version of Alpha Anywhere. The features available in the beta are geared towards quick development of forms optimized for use on tablet and mobile devices. Features include new rich data input controls and editors that reduce the size of mobile forms apps through the use of shared resources.

The contest will award innovation tablet form applications created by our mobile forms beta participants. The winner will be determined at this year's Alpha DevCon. Conference attendees will see finalists’ apps up close and voice their choice for their favorite touch optimized forms beta application.

There is a limit of one submission per person and the submitted application .ZIP must contain the following items:

    • Prototype code, project files, or other form of proof you have begun working on your project
    • A detailed specification for what you plan to build (or have built)
    • Any screenshots of your application you want to include
Points will be awarded for inventiveness or general usefulness of the application. Applications do not need to be fully functional to qualify.  The deadline for submissions is September 7, 2015 11:59 pm EST. Winners will be announced September 21, 2015, following the conclusion of voting at Alpha DevCon 2015. The winner will receive a new iPad Air 2.
